MINDER SLAGGATE, MAAR MEER PROJEKTE LÊ VOOR / LESS POTHOLES MUT MORE PROJECTS TO COME

Dankie! Dit is wonderlik om die entoesiasme van die dorp Frankfort en sy gemeenskap te sien met die huidige slaggatprojek wat gedryf word. Dankie aan Francois de Klerk en ander wie die projek dryf.

MBF se leuse is: "Om positiewe veranderinge mee te bring in terme van plaaslike regering, dienslewering, indiensneming en die omgewing om 'n floreerende ekonomie in Mafube teweeg te bring."

'n Paar opwindende projekte om ons dorp te verbeter, word beplan en MBF wil graag die gemeenskap aanmoedig om daarby ook betrokke te raak en dit heelhartig te ondersteun.

Paaie: Raubex het onderneem om 10 km teerpad vir ons te bou en 200 meter se plaveilsel vir Namahadi te befonds. Hulle sal ook een week se toesig voorsien waartydens Mafube Personeel opgelei kan word om die projek verder te oorsien.

Wildspark: 'n Wildspark en lushof word beplan in die middel van die dorp (by Roux, Koller, Princess, Skeen en Beckwithstraat) wat veilig omhein en met sekuritietskameras bewaak sal word. Wild sal geskenk word en onderhoud sal deur 'n boerevereniging behartig word.

Hospitaal: Die tuin van die hospital sal opgeruim word, die heinings sal geverf word. Gras sal hervestig word.

Ingange van dorp: Die ingange van die dorp sal mooigemaak word met nuwe verwelkomingsborde en bordjies van besighede in die dorp.

Bogenoemde projekte sal die dorp 'n wesenlike "facelift" gee, en dit beter en lekkerder maak vir almal. MBF nooi almal uit om betrokke te raak. Meer info rakende die projekte binnekort beksikbaar stel.

[Eng] Thank you! It is wonderful to see the enthusiasm of the town of Frankfort and its community with the current pothole project being driven. Thanks to Francois de Klerk and others who are driving the project.

MBF's motto is: "To bring about positive changes in terms of local government, service delivery, employment and the environment to bring about a thriving economy in Mafube."

Some exciting projects to improve our town are planned and MBF would like to encourage the community to get involved and support them wholeheartedly.

Roads: Raubex has undertaken to build 10 km of tarred road for us and fund 200 metres of paving for Namahadi. They will also provide one week of supervision during which Mafube Staff can be trained to further oversee the project.

Game Park: A game park and game enclosure is planned in the middle of the town (at Roux, Koller, Princess, Skeen and Beckwith Streets) that will be securely fenced and monitored by security cameras. Game will be donated and maintenance will be handled by a farmers' association.

Hospital: The hospital garden will be cleaned up, the fences will be painted. Grass will be replanted.

Entrances to town: The entrances to the town will be beautified with new welcome signs and signs from businesses in the town.

The above projects will give the town a major facelift, making it better and more enjoyable for everyone. MBF invites everyone to get involved. More information regarding the projects will be available soon.
