SAMRK/SAHRC : MM say Mafube financial woes not really due to "bad management"

Updated: May 13

[Eng] MLM appeared before the SA Human Rights Commission in March 2024 - Adv Lepeheane, stated under oath that financial management is critical, but according to him the actual problem lies with residents who [exercise their legal right and] do not pay for poor service delivery. He also complains about civil rights organizations who helps, where the municipality cannot reach, and complains [red faced] because Rural Maintenance keeps the lights on in town. [Before Rural Maintenance started doing power distribution, there wasn't even enough infrastructure.]
