Mafube Business Forum (MBF) have long been taking a stance to demand better service delivery and the right of the community to a clean, healthy environment and a thriving economy.
Lately, MBF together with Rural Maintenance took Eskom to court to fight for its members and the community’s right to electricity during load shedding, when alternative energy sources are available.
It seems as if the hard work, endless nights of meetings, research and brainstorming is starting to pay off.

Two members of parliament, Kevin Mileham as the DA's shadow minister of Mineral Resources and Energy and Ghaleb Cachalia, DA’s shadow minister for State Enterprises (which includes Eskom), visited MBF to share their thoughts and views on the specific situation in Mafube.
